This is the fully electric version of the Maxus T90 pickup, so below we will detail what we know about this product so far.

Let's take a look at the first complete images of the new T90EV electric pickup.

The electric Maxus T90EV pickup is the production version of the MAXUS NEW EV electric pickup concept presented at the 2020 Guangzhou Auto Show.

The production version of the Maxus New EV concept has a less spectacular design, but it is also distinctly Chinese in style. The front features larger headlights, a redesigned grille and bumpers, as well as redesigned rear lights. A small EV badge with the letter “E” painted in metallic blue identifies the electric powertrain. The electric version has the same basic design as the ICE variant. This approach helps keep costs down and simplifies production, with changes limited mainly to styling and badging.

The Maxus T90EV electric pickup features a visibly aggressive front end, typical of Chinese utility vehicles. A gigantic grille covering almost the entire front, split headlights with an unusual design, a large brand logo and numerous reflective details form the key exterior design elements.

From the side, the new Maxus electric pickup looks traditional thanks to its conventional proportions. 17-inch alloy wheels come as standard on the electric pickup. Its high ground clearance gives it a sporty appearance, while the robust square wheel arches, exterior rope hooks and massive sports bar add to its adventurous character.

At the rear, the design is largely traditional. A gigantic brand logo on the tailgate ensures an unmistakable road presence wherever the vehicle goes.

The new-generation Maxus T90 features a luxurious cabin with a modern design. The dashboard is not as large as in traditional pickups, nor is the center console, which means more space for passengers and storage. The 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system adds a minimalist touch.

In the United Kingdom, the list of comfort features will include rain-sensing wipers and a reversing camera.

The long-awaited MAXUS electric pickup will be available to order from August 2022, with deliveries scheduled for the first quarter of 2023.
