A true upgrade for the Ford Raptor
Hennessey Performance Engineering has revealed details of its VelociRaptor 600 package for the new Ford F-150 pickup.
What does this upgrade offer? The Hennessey package adds 150 hp to the 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine, bringing it up to 600 hp – a 33% increase in power.
The Hennessey team is targeting a 0–100 km/h time of just 4.2 seconds, along with a quarter-mile time of 12.9 seconds. To achieve this, the Ford engine receives an upgraded air induction system, a high-capacity intercooler with a blow-off valve, and upgraded engine management software.

Beyond straight-line performance, the VelociRaptor 600 retains the impressive off-road credentials of the F-150 Raptor. Hennessey's new modifications retain the five-link rear suspension, 24-inch coil springs, and sport-tuned shocks, while also giving customers the opportunity to enhance the vehicle with a range of additional upgrades.
“VelociRaptor has been a cornerstone of our production for years, with our customers lining up for its surprisingly agile handling, excellent practicality ... and, of course, its power,” exclaimed John Hennessey, founder and CEO of the company. “The popularity of this pickup has given us the opportunity to create a family of VelociRaptors, including SUV, 6×6, V8 and Bronco variants for customers across the country and around the world.”

Want to take the pickup off-road?
The manufacturers have good news in this regard as well. The off-road package includes a new front bumper with integrated LEDs, a rear bumper, 20-inch wheels with 30-inch tires, and suspension kits.
If you like the sound of such a model, orders are already being accepted for deliveries beginning in early 2022. Production, however, is limited to 250 units per year. If you want the performance upgrade together with the enhanced off-road package, you will need to spend approximately EUR 95,000. The VelociRaptor range is among Hennessey's most powerful products, with thousands of models produced over the past 10 years. The company predicts that this new pickup will become its best-selling model to date.

Will it actually turn out that way?
